Radiator & coolerrestoration and fabrication

It started in 1977 in Trbovlje, Slovenia, as a motor vehicle service. From there my father Igor built his own trade, and in 1994 the workshop, then called Akviz, went into full operation. Radiator restoration and recoring for cars and trucks. Every piece by hand, every measurement checked.

In 2006 his son Aleks took over. The core stayed the same: a radiator that cools again the way it should. Everything else grew.

Classic cars hold a special place. When nothing is left on the shelf for a fifty year old machine, the only way is to understand the original and build it again. Copper, brass, aluminium, to original dimensions. Many radiators that leave this workshop are older than the workshop itself.

Today, besides our core work, restoring and recoring radiators for tractors and agricultural machinery, construction and work machines, trucks and cars, boats and industrial systems, we also build complete units from scratch.

Water, oil and air radiators, built from the ground up. From concept and 3D design, through laser cutting, CNC bending and machining, to TIG welding of aluminium and the finished piece in hand. When a machine overheats and there is no solution, we make one.

The workshop is in Trbovlje, Slovenia. We work for customers across Slovenia and abroad, and ship radiators throughout Europe.
